Diagnostics and treatment of male infertility in patients with surgical pathology of genital and inguinal region

The article presents a study of the reproductive function and fertility prognosis in 27 male patients of reproductive age suffering from common diseases of the genitals and groin. These patients were observed on an outpatient basis with a diagnosis of "male infertility." Patients evaluated the performance dynamics of the blood levels of sex hormones and evaluation spermogram dynamics before and after surgical treatment of the underlying disease. The study found that surgical removal of the possible causes of infertility in marriage leads to the normalization of semen in 15% of cases and to pregnancy in 22.2% of cases. No significant changes in the dynamics of sex hormones have been identified. Also during the investigation revealed that the conservative therapy is associated with the underlying disease and infertility in marriage connective tissue dysplasia has a positive clinical effect. This fact is determined by the onset of pregnancy in 29.4% of patients undergoing drug therapy of.
