Malfunction diagnostics of gas turbine units using vibrodiagnostics

This article describes the main defects of gas turbines, which are recorded by observing the vibration of the main components of the unit. The publication tells why and in what main elements of gas turbine units vibration occurs. Standard and non-standard ways of extracting useful information in the applied vibrodiagnostic algorithms are highlighted, their positive and negative sides are evaluated. The main reasons for the use of hardware complexes for monitoring and diagnostics of the technical condition of installations, based on methods and means of vibrodiagnostics, to date in the electric power industry of Russia are formed.
