Diagnostics of professional competences of students on the basis of educational cases

On the basis of theoretical analysis of content and structure of concepts «competence», «ability» and «readiness» the author offered the constructive approach to structuring of components of competences of students in the format of federal state educational standard of higher vocational education and development of their diagnostic models. The expediency of the use of educational cases was shown on the basis of problem situations for diagnostics of professional competences of students.
