Military school cadets skills and abilities of working with English audio text diagnostics

The article studies skills and abilities of a military school cadets (the specialty “Translation and Translation Studies”) when working with a foreign language audio text in English classes. The authors focus on theoretical aspects of listening as a kind of communication, analyze the system of pre-text, text and post-text exercises when working with foreign-language military audio text and diagnose cadets skills of working with audio text (based on materials of military operations in the Syrian). Drawing conclusions in the research, the authors cite the results of the experiment and identify groups of difficulties encountered during listening.
