Diagnostics of the state of the field of waste management at the federal and regional level as a stage of ensuring environmental safety

The formation of a green economy, the achievement of green economic growth around the world is gradually becoming a mainstream. For a few years now, the institutional system of the recycling sector has gradually begun to form in Russia, but a significant number of problems remain in this area. The article analyzes the current state of the waste management area at the federal and regional levels, diagnoses the current threats to the country's environmental security, and divides the need for an integrated approach to the formation of a circular economy in the Russian Federation.
