Diagnostics of spleen injuries in elder patients

The article studies algorithm of diagnostics spleen injuries in elder patients. Traumatic spleen injuries take one of the leading positions in abdominal surgery. Ruptures of this organ occur in 20-25 % patients with abdominal traumas. Diagnostics of closed spleen injuries quite often causes certain difficulties. It is determined that clinical presentation in elder patients with closed spleen injuries and intraabdominal haemorrhage of 500 ml is characterized by more significant haemodynamic changes in comparison with young and middle age patients. In elder patients with mild or moderate haemorrhage take place more significant haemodynamic changes, however in patients with severe haemorrhage these changes don’t take place.
