Diachronic analysis of the main concepts of tourism sub-language

The author asserts that the terms “tourist” and “tourism“ are the main concepts in the vocabulary of the tourism industry. The history of their appearance in English, French and Russian is discussed. The problem of using the two adjectives formed from the words “tourism” and “tourist” in Russian is also considered in the article.
