The idea of the need to revise the philosophical foundations of interdisciplinary connections in didactics is substantiated: from the traditional approach based on the integrity of the world to the awareness of the dialectic of the concrete and abstract. The author pays special attention to the essence of interdisciplinary connections as the transfer of a method from one area of knowledge to another, which is expressed by the concept of "experience".
