This article examines the dialogical communication between students at the English lessons at the middle stage of education. We consider the psychological, linguistic and extralinguistic aspects of dialogue, as well as the differences between standardized and free dialogues. The principles of cultural and leisure activities that contribute to the motivation of students are described.
