The article reveals the analysis of the main forms of activity of diaspora organizations of Armenian communities (on the example of the Saratov region community “Krunk”). The preservation of ethnic identity and cultural identity by the Armenians of the Russian Federation is associated with the educational activities of the Armenian communities of the country. The preservation of religion, traditions, and knowledge about ethnic culture can prevent possible cultural assimilation on the threshold of globalization. Various diaspora community organizations (Armenian church, Sunday schools, clubs, creative groups, youth organizations, etc.) play an important role in maintaining their ethno-cultural identity by the Armenians of the Diaspora. They perform three main functions aimed at the formation and preservation of the ethnic identity of young people: 1) consolidation of representatives of the Armenian ethnic group; 2) cultural and educational activities; 3) promotion of Armenian culture in multi-ethnic regions. Diasporal community organizations are structural parts of the cultural centers of the Diaspora, in the periphery of which a new field of ethnic culture is being formed.
