The article presents the results of a geochemical study of associated petroleum gas samples from the northern part of the Kolvinsky megaswell aimed to differentiating samples for detection the presence of breakthrough gas. Based on the research results, associated petroleum gas samples were divided into groups and the proportion of detected breakthrough gas was calculated.
