Differentiated rehabilitation of patients with episodic paroxysmal anxiety

For example, 15 patients with a diagnosis of episodic paroxysmal anxiety who underwent inpatient treatment at the clinic of the Mental Health Research Institute in the period 2013-2015, with subsequent follow-up in Interdisciplinary center of prevention of paroxysmal disorders, we analyzed significant clinical, clinical-dynamic, social-psychological factors influencing the formation, course and pathomorphosis of episodic paroxysmal anxiety (panic attacks). Based on these data innovative strategies for complex rehabilitation measures for these patients were developed and introduced into clinical practice. The proposed two-stage system of rehabilitation of patients with episodic paroxysmal anxiety provides continuity, complexity and maximum individualizes the therapeutic approach. Due to the timely inclusion of patients differentiated in a rehabilitation programme can increase social and individual sanogenic resources. Increasing proactive and preventive activity of patients, their active inclusion in the rehabilitation process increases the positive health and social activity of patients, forming and strengthening attitudes towards healthy lifestyle, decreases burden to public psychiatric and medico-social services, saving human and material resources.
