Differential treatment of insomnia in young patients with anxiety disorders in general medicine practice

105 young patients with various forms of anxiety disorders are investigated. Found that 61 (58,1 %) patients complained of sleep disorders, and 44 (41,9%) subjectively experienced sleep problems. In the diagnosis of insomnia by polysomnography prevalence of sleep disorders was significantly higher than that according to clinical and psychopathological method (82,9 %). For timely diagnosis of sleep disorders and use of differential treatment in the correlation analysis were verified by clinical «markers» of insomnia. Based on the findings developed an algorithm for diagnosis and differential treatment of sleep disorders in patients with anxiety disorders and investigated its effectiveness.
