Dichotomy of the right - left political spectrum

The author considers the division of political forces into two opposite camps, namely the right and left, and the history of their occurrence, main differences are described. Special attention is paid to the particularities of the implementation of the political dichotomy under consideration in the space of different countries in different historical eras. The issues of the relationship between private and public, religion, economy, public hierarchy and other basic elements of any society are investigated. It is concluded that, in spite of evolutionary changes in political trends, questions remain that are of fundamental importance for a particular political camp.
