Dynamics of number and phenology of spiders Araneus diadematus Clerck, 1757 (Aranei, Araneidae) of different biotopes of the Altai region

A stationary collection of spiders was made in 11 different biotopes on the territory of the Republic of Altai and the Altai territory. As a result, the features of dynamic activity of Araneus diadematus were identified. The mating period of this type starts in the second decade of July and ends in the second decade of August. After that the gradual disappearance of males and subsequently of female can be traced.
