Introduction. The purpose of the study. To evaluate the dynamics of parenchymal thickness deficiency in patients with congenital hydronephrosis operated at different periods of the disease.Materials and methods of research. A retrospective analysis of the medical histories of 350 patients operated on with a diagnosis of congenital hydronephrosis. According to the protocols of ultrasound diagnostics performed a few days before the operation and in the long-term postoperative period, the coefficient of reduction of the deficit in the thickness of the parenchyma of the operated kidney in patients of different ages was determined. Statistical processing ofof reduction of the deficit in the thickness of the parenchyma of the operated kidney in patients of different ages was determined. Statistical processing of the results was carried out using the analysis package SPSS Statistics 17.0. The results of qualitative parameters are presented in the form of absolute values (abs.) and percentages (%).Results. A statistically significant dependence of the disease prescription with the dynamics of parenchymal thickness deficiency was found. It was found that in patients with congenital hydronephrosis as a result of surgery performed at the age of one year, the coefficient of reduction of parenchymal thickness deficiency increased statistically significantly with increasing age of the patient at the time of surgery.Conclusion. In patients with congenital hydronephrosis, with an increase in the age of the patient at the time of surgery, the deficiency in the thickness of the parenchyma of the affected kidney increases.
