As a result of investigations it was established, that bactericidal and lysozyme activities raised with the increase of the postnatal life of calves. However, it is necessary to note, that it took place after the cessation of colostrum taking (from 5-7 days), but on the 14-th day their activity recovered. By the 30-th day the indices of bactericidal and lysozyme activities were the highest and amounted 44,40±0,31% and 37,20±0,61%. Low indices of bactericidal and lysozyme activity in the early postnatal life as compared with a late term point out the imperfect immunity system of new-born calves. After a complete colostrum meal IgA and IgG levels constantly raised. By the age of one month a considerable increase of all investigated kinds of immunoglobulin was noticed: IgA - in 2,3 times; IgM - in 1,3 times; IgG - in 1,5 times as compared with the first day. Later there is an adaptation of a new -born organism to the environment, the formation of a natural protection system of an organism.
