The analysis of the dynamics of pulse rate and arterial pressure has been made before and after conducting 10-15 sessions of hyperbaric oxygenation in 30 volunteers and 30 patients with closed and open fractures of leg bones under treatment according to ILizarov. It has been revealed that parasympathetic effects on heart activity increase through the first 6-7 sessions in patients of the second group. In the cases, when the measurements of parasympathetic nervous system tonus increase during the first HBO sessions and slowly return to the initial level subsequently, periods of fixation are found to be comparatively more. In patients with open fractures of leg bones the restoration of the parameters studied was observed much later, by 14-15 session of HBO
