Dynamics and particular qualities of the urbanization process in Russia 20th century

In this article, the process of urbanization in Russia in the ХХ century is explored. In the course of this, the stages of the process of urbanization in Russia, the forms of urbanized settlement and the urban structure were analyzed. Also, the reasons for the cessation of the process of urbanization in Russia in the middle of the ХХ century have been identified. Based on the research, the forecast is given for the rates of growth of the urbanization process in our time.
