The dynamics of immunological and hematological indices in the process of filling defects of long tubular bones under their separation from soft tissues with an allograft (experimental study)

Experiments were made in 14 dogs which were subjected, under leg stable fixation with the Ilizarov fixator, to producing segmental shaft defects of 12-19 mm length, separated from soft tissues with a treated allobone. The complex studies made using x-ray, hematological and immunological methods allowed to obtain the objective data about the course of postoperative period and bone tissue regeneration. In case of favourable course of reparative processes during filling of bone defects under their separation with allografts normal amount of lymphocytes and monocytes was established to be maintained through slight leukocytosis in peripheral blood, moreover there were no signs of Т-lymphocytic immunodepression as well as no shift of differential blood count relating to stab neutrophiles. The most marked changes of hematological and immunological indices were registered from the 14-th to 28-th day of the experiment that coincided with the appearance of the first signs of regenerate bone by x-rays.
