The dynamics of gold nanoparticles' Colloids' Evolution in result of laser-induced fragmentation in ethanol and distilled water

While using gold nanoparticles' colloids in distilled water and ethanol it is shown experimentally, that the liquid type influences on nanoparticles' absorption spectra during their interaction with Nd: YAG laser emission (λ = 1064 nm, E = 15 mJ, t = 250 ps). While maintaining constant condition of beam focusing and laser pulses' energy parameters, the colloids' irradiation in different liquids leads to a significant (~20 nm) shift of gold nanoparticles' plasmon resonance maximum.
