Dynamics in the quality of life of the Russian population (1994-2010)

On the data from the Russian Longitudinal Monitoring Survey (RLMS, 1994-2010) the author shows dynamics in the main indicators of the quality of life (QOL) of the Russian population. These indicators are analysed by socio-demographic groups, including gender disaggregation. The analysis yields the conclusion that representatives of every socio-demographic group, irrespective of their age, can be satisfied with life, provided good health, possibility to continue labour activity, job satisfaction, appropriate material position, presence of social and family ties including communication, mutual understanding and support.
