Dynamic of personality changes and values of medical students in the end of the XXth - the beginning of the XXIst centuries in issues of family relations

Comparing two samples of probands (medical students, medical faculty, the second year, YaSMA) of 1992 and 2006 changes of the personality (The Sixteen Personality Factor Questionnaire by R.B. Cattell), value orientations (J. Newton's questionnaire), in particular family values, were studied. It was found that against the background of considerable changes of the personality and system of values under influence of social- economic transformation of the society (increase of instability) also place of family values is changing. Protective function of the family increases, traditional gender family roles is strengthened.
