Analysis of cardiac pathology in chronic drug abuse is given in the work. In particular, it is underlined that in initial stages of narcoticsusing, cardiac pathology is associated with the action mechanism of Morphinum and its forms and conjugates which leads to the development of dilatation cardiomyopathy. Subsequently, the factors join which are caused by disturbed metabolism both in the organism as a whole and in cardiac muscle leading finally to disturbed myocardial conductive ability. The conclusion about necessity of careful research and an estimation of cardiac pathology in drug abuse subjects is made.
