Dynamics of cultural moral values in the context of modernization of Russian society

The article is devoted to the analysis of the potential consolidation of common cultural and moral values of the Russians. On the basis of empirical data the authors show a predominance of negative positions in assessing the dynamics of the processes in the moral state of Russian society, as well as a departure of the young generation from pro-social values to the values of individualism. In groups with different types of moral orientation a general importance of such moral qualities as honesty, conscience, unselfishness, sincerity was identified.
