Dynamics of remonstrative activity in the region (exemplified by the Far Eastern Federal District)

In recent years, protests have begun to influence the political process not only in the “center”, but also in “quiet regions”, which until recently the Russian Far East belonged to. Protest actions are becoming a systemic phenomenon in the studied region. Accordingly, this requires close attention not only in the context of a prompt response to the actual demand of citizens, but also as an element of political reality that affects the system of interaction between governance and society. The paper presents the results of a study of remonstrative activity in the Far Eastern Federal District, describing the causes of social tensions, demonstrating the level of remonstrative potential in the regions of the Russian Far East, as well as analyzing our self-reported sociological survey, which aimed to identify the dynamics of remonstrative activity in the region
