The article analyzes the dynamics of protest sentiments in the Russian society from 1990 up to the present. The specific features of protest sentiments occurrence in Russia are revealed in the course of the analysis. The author designates the latent protest forms, which aren't revealed by regular sociological polls. The factors influencing the emergence of protest sentiments in the Russian society are reviewed.
