For the growth and development of meristemic plants, a balanced nutrient medium containing macro- and microelements, vitamins, carbohydrates and growth regulators that are in demand for plant morphogenesis is necessary. To improve morphometric parameters, we modified the nutrient medium by introducing into it a growth regulator, sucrose and agar in different concentrations and ratios (2 : 16 : 7; 3 : 20 : 6; 4 : 30 : 5 respectively). Morphometric parameters (height, number and length of internodes, number and length of roots) were evaluated on the 7th, 14th and 21st days of cultivation in varieties: Alyona, Nevsky, Kumir, Triumph, Bellarosa, Zhukovsky early. The research results showed that the most favorable concentration of the nutrient medium for plant growth and development was a ratio of 2 : 16 : 7 (MS-1), and for root formation - 4 : 30 : 5 (MS-3). The most internodes suitable for cuttings were formed in the early Zhukovsky variety (6.80 pcs.) at a late period of cultivation, and the roots - in the Triumph variety (10.25 pcs.). To check the relationship of plant height with the number and length of internodes and the number and length of roots, a correlation analysis was carried out, which showed a high correlation of height with the number of internodes and low correlation with other morphometric indicators.
