Dynamics, state and trends of crime of foreign citizens and stateless persons: regional aspect

The crime of foreign citizens and stateless persons at the federal and regional levelsis changing not only quantitatively but also qualitatively. Due to the lack of a well-developedmechanism of socio-cultural adaptation of foreigners to the conditions of life in the country ofstay, the prevalence of the economic component in the migration policy, formed in our country todate, there is an increase in the public danger of crimes committed by this category of citizens.One of the main factors negatively affecting the criminogenic background is still illegal migration,so the crime of foreign citizens and stateless persons continues to be a phenomenon with a highdegree of latency, and criminals become more vulnerable and are not responsible for the committedcriminal acts. Thus, the state of criminality of foreign citizens and stateless persons isunderestimated, as statistical data do not reflect the level of criminality in full, measures taken tocounteract it need further improvement, the issue of studying the mentioned phenomenon in thecriminal-legal sphere remains poorly developed and remains relevant.
