Dynamics of ultrastructural changes in the cervical tissues of rats in the early postpartum period

Бесплатный доступ

The dynamics of structural changes of rat cervix in postpartum period is traced at the ultrastructural level. It has been established that the basic processes of postpartum involution of the cervix are: overcontraction of muscle cells, followed by signs of hydropic and microvacuolar adipose degeneration; plasmacytosis which is cytoplasmic cell parts separation right after and one day after delivery; autofagocytosis and apoptosis; quantitative and qualitative changes in the structure of inter-cellular substance. It is noted that the cell proliferation during the early postpartum period does not occur. Recovery of cell structures is observed from 2.5 days after delivery.
