Gross domestic product dynamics as an indicator of the Russian economy performance

The article provides an analysis of several possible ways of influencing the dynamics of the Russian GDP. It evaluates perspectives of affecting separate elements of GDP, goes through the actual research papers in adjacent research areas that make an emphasis on different aspects of making the economic growth possible, such as human capital, investment in infrastructure, implementing resources-saving and environment friendly technologies. Increasing the innovation activity is concluded to be necessary in order to foster economic growth.
