Goal: to evaluate the functions, containing autonomic component of regulation (emotional condition, autonomic background, reactivity and maintaining activity) of patients with acute ischemic stroke period. 40 patients with acute ischemic stroke period were observed. Functional condition, degree of emotional disorder, autonomic activities were observed. Timing of the survey: 1) 1-3 days from the beginning, 2) 12-14 days from the first time point. The autonomic background, autonomic reactivity and maintaining activity were evaluated using cardiorhythmography. At the first time point autonomic reactivity had several features: lowering of the parasympathetic events, sympathetic events and ergotropic events. After 14 days, an increase in autonomic reactivity was reported, due to suprasegmental events, and also an increase in functionality. It was found out, that in the acute ischemic stroke period, autonomic background and autonomic maintaining activity barely show dynamics. Autonomic reactivity levels in acute ischemic stroke period have tendency to recover via suprasegmental mechanics.
