In article investigated biography of Soviet statesman and librarian-manager Vladimir Ivanovich Nevsky. We innovative his before-revolution biography and participation in the fight against the imperial government. In the first years of Soviet power V. I. Nevsky occupied very important posts. Special attention is paid for the period, when V. I. Nevskiy was Director of the Lenin State library of USSR. We study his measures as library director and big results, which “Leninka” arrived in 1925-1935 years. In our work investigated the history and motives Nevsky's arrest. We bring data about his opposition's activity. We show the version about participation Vladimir Ivanovich in secret terrorist's organization. We bring facts, which connect arrest of V. I. Nevskiy and “Kremlin case”, opening in January 1935. In article innovative the chronological connect between new accusations against Nevsky and arrest People's Commissar NKVD G. G. Yagoda. Note re-trial V. I. Nevsky's case after death and his full rehabilitation in 1955 year.
