The article presents the results of a study of basic discourses and technologies of external destructive information and psychological influence in regional segments of Russian social media. The empirical object of the study is relevant information materials posted in segments of Russian regions bordering on Ukraine. The authors highlight the main content and technological characteristics of the information flow, and determine the risks of distributing such content among the mass Internet audience.
