Distance learning and traditions of Russian education

Distance education is a form of education that does not require the personal presence of students and teachers in one place. Instead, students have access to educational materials via the Internet and can study them at their convenience. This method of teaching contributes to the development of students' independence, as they can independently plan their time and study materials according to their own pace and learning style. However, successful completion of studies in this form requires self-discipline, organization and motivation from students, since there is no direct interaction with teachers and classmates.
