Distance learning as a way of organization of bachelors’ independent work

The article states the advantages of the distance learning technologies applied in the higher education system. The authors study the case of the virtual learning environment LMS-Moodle, which helps to create a course of disciplines in such a way that the students’ independent work becomes a priority mode of training. The paper considers the possibilities of self-testing with application of the virtual learning environment. The relevance of the distance learning introduction is reasoned by the Federal law “Concerning education in the Russian Federation”.
