Remote interrogation: status and prospects

Introduction: this article discusses video conferencing in investigative and other procedural actions, the algorithm for investigative actions when using video conferencing. Materials and Methods: the methodological basis of the study became the methods of synthesis, scientific cognition, logical, comparative legal, and other private methods of studying legal phenomena. Results: the article analyzed the usage of video conferencing that proved the need for its usage. Discussion and Conclusions: based on the conducted study, the author concluded that the usage of video-conference communication, during the production of investigative and other procedural actions will increase the effectiveness of the investigation in a criminal case.
