Diversification and continuity in arid agriculture

Бесплатный доступ

In most agricultural enterprises, the availability of labor and technical resources is reduced, which affects the timeliness and quality of field work. The requirement to comply with strictly defined periods of time for carrying out basic field work causes uneven loading of machinery and machine operators, and as a result, the uneven demand for resource provision of enterprises increases. With the limited yield potential of cultivated crops and the existing financial condition of enterprises, the problem of resource conservation comes to the fore. The alternate concentration of resources on the implementation of the main technological operations of cultivated crops for two-shift operation of existing equipment and alternate-cyclic execution of production processes in each period of field work allows to smooth out negative phenomena. This allows and makes it necessary to increase successive cycles due to rational fruit change and the number of cultivated crops in the crop rotation, which contributes to the protection of crops, increased yields and fuller use of the potential of arable land.
