Dividend policy of the firms. Specificity of the Russian approach

This article explores the specifics of the theoretical approaches to the formation of dividend policy by companies in Russia and in Western countries, including the theory of dividend payment and factors affecting the choice of dividend policy of the enterprise. Specific features of the Russian approach in these issues were identified and a conclusion was drawn that a single dividend policy can not exist, since the factors influencing its choice vary from country to country.
