Voluntary movement in the English-Burkish war 1899-1902. as a unique event of the century

The article describes the essence, characteristics and peculiarities of the phenomenon of volunteer movement in the years of conflict in South Africa. Participation of a large number of foreign volunteers became a characteristic feature of this period, which is characterized by both the international situation and changes in public opinion of that period.
