In the modern world, an important problem in the field of educating adolescents is their training to think consciously. Often the actions taken by teenagers are based on emotions - teenagers tend to make rash, impulsive decisions. It is impulsive actions that serve to increase the level of unconscious behavior of a teenager. Unconscious behavior is primarily understood as the ability of a teenager to rationally think about a situation, consider it from different angles, look for and weigh all the positive and negative aspects of a particular action. In turn, unconscious behavior can lead to negative consequences: emergencies, harm to oneself or others, holding a teenager accountable, committing an illegal act, etc. Unfortunately, this phenomenon cannot be eradicated, but it can be reduced by the right influence on the teenager, the right upbringing, and the creation of an environment around him that will contribute to the growth of his awareness. These can be public socially oriented organizations, in other words, volunteer and volunteer movements, which include many different directions. An important role in the education of modern youth is played by public non-profit organizations that lay in their members the principles of humanism, patriotism, order and a healthy lifestyle. One of the popular areas of volunteering is volunteering in the field of prevention and elimination of the consequences of emergencies. Volunteers in this area learn to make informed decisions and assess possible risks, they bring up order, the principles of humanism, patriotism, unity of command, teenagers also learn to act in a team and make joint decisions, which helps to strengthen conscious behavior.
