Voluntary refusal of a person from rights to a land plot as a method of termination of property rights

Within the framework of this article, the voluntary renunciation of a person's rights to a land plot is analyzed as one of the ways to terminate the right of ownership. This issue is very important, since the right of ownership is an absolute real right, which is guaranteed by the provisions of the Constitution of the Russian Federation. It should be noted that in practice, voluntary refusal is a rare way of terminating the right of ownership, most often this right is terminated by alienating the object of ownership. The procedure and conditions for the voluntary termination of ownership of a land plot are regulated by the provisions of Article 53 of the Land Code of the Russian Federation (hereinafter referred to as the RF LC).
