Exchange contract: features of legal regulation in Russian and foreign law

The article gives a description of the barter agreement in Russian and foreign law, and compares it with the contract of sale. The author reveals trends in terms of fixing the place of the barter agreement in the system of civil law obligations, determines the features of legal regulation under the legislation of a number of countries.
