Escrow agreement as a method of fulfillment of the obligations

The interest to the study the legal nature of the escrow agreement is caused by its recent appearance in the Civil Code of the Russian Federation. The article analyzes the balance between the escrow agreement and the ways to ensure the fulfillment of the obligations and a certain similarity of the indicated civil structures is also stated. The author explains the reasons of impossiblity to classify an escrow agreement as a way to ensure the fulfillment of an obligation.
