The article is devoted to the basics of evidence in civil proceedings, the key principles of judicial proceedings and modern changes related to digitalization and the use of technology in court proceedings. Principles such as adversarial nature, dispositivity, freedom of evidence, completeness of evidence and immediacy are considered, as well as various sources of evidence, including written documents, witness statements, expert examinations and digital data. Special attention is paid to the impact of digitalization on the judicial process, including the use of electronic documents, correspondence, social networks and digital footprints.
