Documents of N.V. Gogol`s pilgrimage to the holy places

The publication represents the arch of documentary certificates on Gogol's pilgrimage to Holy Places. The most part of documents is published for the first time. Hand-written funds of the Pushkin House (IRLI), the Russian national library, Archive of foreign policy of Russian empire the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, the Russian state military-historical archive, the Russian state library are claimed. Published materials are accompanied by an introductory preamble and comments.
