Domestic economy: effectiveness and gender role distribution practices in Volgograd's families

The article analyses theoretical and methodological backgrounds, thus it was the basis of such sociological concepts as "domestic economy", "housekeeping". The author defines the gender role distribution practices between a man and a woman in the housekeeping. The satisfaction level of a domestic economy income and basic ways of income distribution for keeping consumer family's programs are presented.
