Dominant infectious diseases of animals and birds in Omsk region and the role of disinfection in the system of preventive measures

In this article authors analyze epizootic situation of the main infectious diseases of various farm animals and birds in Omsk Region during 2000-2016. The indicators of long-standing morbidity, mortality, coefficient of focality, epizootic index and confidence interval were determined. Nosological structure and the use of disinfection in the system of control and prevention of infectious diseases were studied and systematized. Infectious pathology was represented by 20 diseases with the imposition of quarantine and restrictive measures, among them 11 (50%) were of bacterial etiology, 9 (45%) of viral etiology, 1 (5%) was of chlamydial etiology. In the nosological profile, infectious anemia of horses (26.60%) ranked first, rabies (20.74%) were on the second place, pasteurellosis, brucellosis, listeriosis, ornithosis, and bird flu in descending order from 5.85 to 2.93% are on the third place.
