Institution of elections'' Credibility as an indicator for functioning of the Russian political system (on the example of ulyanovsk region)

The article discusses the influence of the factor of public confidence in the institution of elections on the functioning of the Russian political system, its trajectory dynamics in the framework of conducting reforms. A low level of the institution of elections'' credibility (according to the Russian regional and sociological studies) as an indicator of socio-cultural and politico-cultural development of the country is an indicator of the crisis of democratic political and legal legitimacy of the ruling regime, with the exception of the President. Political and cultural gap in confidence to the President and the institution of elections is an indicator of changes in the trajectory of political reforms, the specifics of the democratic process in Russia.
