Tree-ring chronologies of the wooden architecture sites in the Arkhangelsk region and interpretation of dendrochronological measurement series

The paper contains quantitative and chronological characteristics of 13 treering chronologies obtained from the materials of the earlier examined architectural sites of the Arkhangelsk region. It reviews the analysis of the quantitative and chronological distribution of the dendrochronological measurement series obtained from the wood samples from some buildings taking into account historical data on the time when they were constructed. We have traced a chronological «tail» of the dates spanning up to several decades that tend to precede the construction date known from written sources.
